How are your earrings made?

Stephanie Elicia earrings are carefully designed and made in Melbourne, Australia. Our laser cutting is outsourced to a fellow home-grown small business based in NSW. To ensure all allergies and sensitivities are accounted for, we locally source quality sterling silver hooks, surgical steel stud posts, butterfly clips and nickel free jump rings.

I lost one of my earrings, can I purchase a replacement?

Even with the best intentions, we understand accidents happen!

Perhaps you lost an earring during the festival season or it got caught as you were taking off your jumper. The longevity of our products is very important to us. We wish for you to enjoy your earrings for many years to come and as such are more than happy to offer replacements and repairs at a fraction of the price.

Do you do customised designs?

We are happy to add a customised design to one of our existing shapes and colour ways. Perhaps you would like something engraved or a nickname added to one of our hoop designs? We have made customised earrings for bridal parties, baby showers and more! Please note that personalised jewellery can take up to 7 - 14 working days to make. Stephanie Elicia is a small business.  What we consume and how that effects the environment is very important to us. We try to be as environmentally friendly in the business as we are in our personal life. From what we buy, eat, and wear to cleaning up our local suburb, we also make choices to preference and support other small and local Australian businesses where possible when gathering materials for our products.

We use 100% biodegradable bubble wrap, recycled pink tissue paper, recycled card and cardboard mailing boxes, which are completely recyclable and reusable. We have also discontinued single use plastic packaging.

Our new wooden earrings are made from sustainable certified wood and come from sustainably managed forests in the USA, which are part of the sustainable forestry initiative growing 2.29 trees for every one that is harvested.

Acrylic is long lasting and durable however we acknowledge that it is not the most eco-friendly option, as such we aim to reduce waste plastic by creating sturdy zero waste designs for our laser cutting. We don’t follow fast fashion trends, instead we aim to foster longevity through timeless designs and sentimental connections to our products. Each item is careful designed and handmade with care and precision by Stephanie in her studio.

We are currently investigating new methods of production, we aren’t perfect but we are consciously making efforts to be the best we can be!
